Govt issues advisory to Meta, urges for content overhaul on Facebook and Instagram

The government has asked Meta, which is the owner of Facebook and Instagram, for a complete content overhaul. Meta has been asked to ensure that its recommendation system does not result in "disproportionate exposure of users to a single or limited set of narratives.”
