A cost of Rs 603 crore was incurred on India's Chandrayaan-2 mission, while its launch came at a price of Rs 367 crore, the central government said in a written reply in Parliament on Wednesday. The government reiterated that Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft was launched successfully and most of its objectives were achieved. Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh, while responding to a question on the cost and objectives of Chandrayaan-2 said Candrayaan-2 was indigenously developed and comprised an orbiter, lander and a rover.
