Brazilian President Bolsonaro to be chief guest at Republic Day celebrations next year

Accepting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's invitation, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is set to be the chief guest at India's Republic Day celebrations next year. Prime minister Modi met Bolsonaro on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 11th BRICS Summit, which was held to focus on building mechanisms for counter-terrorism cooperation and strengthen India's ties with the world's five major economies.
