Varun Dhawan dismisses awards shows for snubbing October, says media needs to write about it

It came to everyone as a shocker when Shoojit Sircar's slice-of-life drama October got royally snubbed at the year-end awards shows that took place in the matter of past few months. Varun Dhawan and Shoojit Sircar did get a nomination at the awards shows, but none of them managed to win any accolade. Perturbed by this, Varun Dhawan spoke to Mid-Day and urged the media to talk more and more about October and films like that.
