Japanese F-35 fighter jet crashes into Pacific Ocean; pilot missing

A day after disappearing from radar over the Pacific Ocean, the wreckage of a Japanese F-35 stealth fighter jet was found on Wednesday, Japanese military officials said. According to media reports, the pilot of the plane was however, still missing. Search operations at the sea led to the recovery of parts of the crashed plane.
