Surya Grahan 2019: First solar eclipse of the year today. All you need to know about time, locations

This year’s first Partial Solar Eclipse will be witnessed by the world on Sunday, as the Solar Eclipse or Surya Grahan 2019 is set to grace the skies on January 6. The moon and the Sun will be aligned in such a manner that the Sun’s disk is blocked by the moon, which will make for the celestial event, known as the Solar Eclipse. First of six eclipses in 2019, the Solar Eclipse 2019 on Sunday will fall two weeks before the Super Blood Wolf Moon, that would take place on January 20/21.
