Delhi: Cold wave intensifies as minimum temperature drops to 4.5 degrees Celsius; air quality remains ‘poor’

The national capital on Wednesday witnessed intense cold wave as the minimum temperature dropped to 4.5 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average. The maximum temperature also dropped to 19.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, given a partial cloud cover.
