Cambridge Analytica data breach: Facebook appeals GBP 500,000 scandal fine by UK watchdog

Social media giant Facebook has filed an appeal against the 500,000 pound fine slapped on it by the UK's independent data watchdog for it's role in the Cambridge Analytica data breach scandal. UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) had slapped US social media company with the maximum fine it is authorised to issue under the data protection law imposed last month.
