Dussehra 2018 celebrations LIVE: Destroy evils like terrorism, violence alongside Ravan's effigy, says President Kovind

Vijayadashmi or Dussehra is being celebrated across the country with full fervor and enthusiasm. In the evening, to mark the festival of victory of good over evil, President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will burn effigies of demon king Ravan, Meghnad and Kumbhakaran at the historic Ramlila Maidan in the heart of national capital. The tradition of burning effigies of at Ramlila Maidan had started in 1924.
