Amritsar Train Accident Live Updates: 61 dead; clear case of trespassing, say rail officials; Navjot Sidhu visits injured in hospital

At least 61 people were killed and over 70 injured on Friday after a speeding train mowed down a crowd of Dussehra revellers that had spilled onto railway tracks while watching burning of Ravana effigy at Joda Phatak near Amritsar. The train was coming from Jalandhar and at least 300 people were watching 'Ravana dahan' at a ground adjacent to the tracks.
