Gorakhpur infant deaths result of internal politics, not lack of oxygen, says UP CM Yogi Adityanath

More than a year after the tragic deaths of more than 60 infants at the government-run Baba Raghav Das Medical College (BRD) in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that the tragedy was a result of the internal politics at the hospital. Speaking at an event in Lucknow, CM Adityanath said that there was no shortage of oxygen at the hospital and reasoned that had it been so, the kids on the ventilator would have died first.
